Bathroom Demo Day
So today I spent a couple of hours tearing out my bathroom so the remodel of the basement can begin. Here are some pics from the adventure.

This is one awesome tool…

Just in case anyone does not have any common sense.

I ventured into the cold to take some pics at about 2 am. There was a fresh dusting of snow on the ground. I have been waiting to get some snow pictures all winter. I am still waiting for a snow storm to get the pics I want but these will have to do for now. I also am going to post a before and after pictures of the pics I took. The before shots are right out of the camera and the after shots are after some editing in photoshop. This is also the first time I shot in full manual mode.

Went to a wedding on Saturday. It was great to see Dale get married. I grew up with Dale and for all he has been through he has kept his head up through it all. His mom would be proud of the man he has become.
I snapped some awesome pictures at his wedding. The reception was at Receptions in Western Hills which is one of my favorite halls around. Enjoy!

Dale and Nikki had a awesome cake fight as you can tell from the picture!

The coolest ice sculpture I have ever seen.

The cake was festive… notice the snowflakes!

I love to take pictures of candles.

The reason for this post is because I can’t sleep. I am trying to shock myself into a somewhat normal sleeping pattern. It probably won’t work since I will probably crash at some point during the day.

The sunrise… I don’t get to see the sunrise that often. I was also using some photoshop actions <— click here, that I got from Pioneer Woman. My whole idea behind these pictures was to make the blues really stand out.

The best game of around the world was created on this court with my best friend Clayton, its 18 holes (shots) we are golf nuts! The last 2 holes are from the deck. I always win cause I am better then Clayton.

This is also where Donny Smith delivered a royal beat down in a game of 21.

I love my baskeball court. So many memories. This is where my Dad showed my how to play the game of baskeball. We would spend hours out here playing horse, around the world and one on one. I hope to be able to do the same with my son someday on this same court.
And now I leave you with this message from Chuck Norris.

My macbook pro finally arrived. I am so excited.

My macbook pro in its fresh new box waiting to be opened… by me!

Its so beautiful!

First time out of the box… we were both a bit nervous.

First boot up…

Macbook’s new home… I soon will be hooking up to the 2nd monitor!

All this excitment has left me tired… so I decided to take a nap.
This is a random post. I have been sick since Sunday and I don’t like it. I have been downing nyquil by the gallons… well not really I am sure I would be dead if I did that.
got my class schedule today… start classes on January 20th. I never thought I would be going back to school.

playing gears of war 2… love that game!

A picture of this blog post on my dual monitors… told you this was random.

I ordered my macbook pro last week. I thought I was going to get it on Friday… I had tracked the mouse I ordered instead of the macbook. I was a bit disappointied when I saw this instead of the macbook.
So here we are on this wonderful Tuesday and I thought yet again that I was going to gety my macbook…. but no it is held up in customs and should arrive on Thursday. I can only hope!
That is enough randomness for today… got to get back to playing more gears of war!
On Saturday night… well I guess it was early Sunday morning, at about 2 am I went for a night walk. This also happened to be the coldest night that we have had this year due to the wind. I went out to clear my head and with fresh fallen snow I thought I could snap some cool pics. Here is what I got… enjoy!

I made my first pie today for a Christmas party. I have really been enjoying cooking and hope to explore more recipes as I get better at it. I have been reading the pioneer woman’s blog a lot lately and have been getting my recipes from her. I made her chocolate pie <—- click here for recipe. It was amazing but next time I think I am going to make my own crust. The store bought ones don’t cut for me. Enjoy the pics… and try not to eat the pie… its not real.
I had a great turkey day… spending time with family, eating endless amounts of food, drinking some Thanksgiving beer, and no work.

The Thanksgiving table… I used my fisheye lens on this pic.

my first Thanksgiving dish that I made… I got the recipe from pioneer woman.
Spanish green beans <— click here to get the recipe.

a friendly game of scattergories… well as friendly as it can get, we are a competitive bunch.

Another scattergories pic… I love this background in this pic, everyone seems to be having a great time!

I love fruit… somehow my nieces and cousin hog it all at their end of the table… really I am not bitter.

my fire that I built…. it is tradition to have a fire on every Thanksgiving. My Dad built one every year and so will I. We also have a tradition that we play Christmas music on Thanksgiving… not sure how that one got started.

my cousin Emily

Emily again…

Amie every year makes goofy faces… I always manage to get them on camera. Notice she still has the blanket she had when she was a baby.

sarah… chillin on the couch

my Thanksgiving beer… I love blue moon. This is their winter brew. It was deliciouis.

Woodchuck… this is all my time favorite drink.
